We are looking for a mid-to-senior level IT Project Manager to support the delivery of a new Global Fulfilment Center (GFC) and related enterprise application initiatives across WMS, ERP (SAP S/4HANA), and integrations. This role is strongly IT-focused and sits at the intersection of IT, logistics operations, and business transformation.
Role Focus: The role focuses on IT delivery for warehouse and enterprise systems, including infrastructure, integrations, and IT operations readiness. The Project Manager will work closely with internal IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure smooth delivery and go-live.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact logistics and IT transformation initiative, working hands-on with modern enterprise systems while remaining close to real operational execution.
Job Description
1. Support IT side of the delivery for the build-out of a new Global Fulfilment Center (GFC)
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
3. Create comprehensive project plans outlining objectives, timelines, resources, and deliverables; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
4. Oversee all related workstreams, ensuring seamless coordination between systems and processes.
5. Ensure successful integration between ERP, WMS, carriers, and third-party systems.
6. Drive IT readiness for new GFC, including infrastructure and application setup.
7. Manage network, devices, connectivity, and on-site IT readiness.
8. Identify risks, track dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies across IT workstreams.
9. Lead cutover activities, go-live preparation, and hypercare support post-launch.
10. Manage vendor relationships and ensure delivery governance aligns with project standards.
11. Provide regular updates on status, risks, and issues; generate comprehensive reports for leadership.
12. Implement quality control measures and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
13. Foster collaboration and high performance across internal teams and external partners.
Qualifications
14. 5–8+ years of experience as an IT focused Project Manager in enterprise environments
15. Experience with new WMS and ERP-implementation projects
16. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and IT operations in warehouse or logistics/distribution environments
17. Experience working in integration-heavy landscapes (APIs, middleware, iPaaS)
18. Ability to work effectively between IT and business teams with diverse background and locations.
19. Familiarity with the preparation of reports and presentations for management
20. Eager to make an impact in a fast-growing organizational environment, with a proactive attitude.
21. Listening, communication, and collaboration skills, with attention to detail.
22. Proficiency with MS-Office, MS-Project, Jira, or other PM tools.
23. Structured, hands-on, and delivery-oriented mindset.
Language & Location Requirements
24. German language skills at B1-B2 level or higher are highly desired
25. English proficiency (Written and verbal) required for international collaboration
26. Willingness to work on-site in Munich for certain days per week

27. Experience with new warehouse or distribution center focused on IT setups
28. Exposure to cloud-based ERP and WMS solutions
29. Familiarity with warehouse automation, robots, highly automated logistic systems.
