Responsibilities
1. Procurement: Support and communication of central purchasing processes; further development of a global procurement organization; training and support for Procurement Operators and Commodity Buyers
2. SAP S/4 Expertise: Active participation in SAP rollouts and continuous improvements in close collaboration with IT and other Global Process Owners
3. Process Ownership: Further development and documentation of processes – from “as-is” to “to-be” – with a strong focus on the SAP MM/IM module
4. Testing: Creation, execution, and documentation of template processes, change requests, and SAP S/4 rollout activities
5. Training: Knowledge transfer to local teams through training sessions and close cooperation with key users and project teams
6. Implementation: Ensure system readiness prior to go-live, support during the hypercare phase, and provide guidance during international rollouts
7. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Production, and IT – both in day-to-day operations and in strategic projects
Qualifications
8. Education: Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Procurement or Supply Chain Management
9. Professional Experience: Several years of experience in Procurement – ideally in an international, manufacturing environment
10. SAP Knowledge: In-depth expertise in SAP MM/IM and related modules (e.g. SD, CS, PP), ideally gained as a key user or process expert
11. Languages: Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
12. Travel: Willingness to travel within the ACEMEA region
13. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of supplier management, P2P processes, process and project management, as well as excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
14. Working Style: Analytical, structured, and hands-on – with a solid understanding of project and change management
