ABOUT THE ROLE
The Regional CAPEX Controller, under the supervision of the D&C CAPEX control manager, helps managing and controlling costs associated with data center projects Portfolio of the company. This role involves monitoring project budgets, analyzing financial data, forecasting expenditures, and ensuring that financial objectives are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project cost management, preferably within the construction or technology sectors.
The Regional CAPEX Controller will work very closely with the CAPEX control manager, the Capex Controller of the Financial team, in charge of cash and payment management, to ensure a stringent end to end Capex Management Process from Budget estimate to payment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Budget Management: Develop and maintain project budgets in collaboration with project managers. Monitor budget performance, track variances, and report on financial status.
2. Cost Tracking and Analysis: Implement cost control procedures to track project expenses and identify discrepancies. Analyze financial data and prepare reports to assess cost performance and forecast future costs.
3. Reporting: Generate regular financial reports, including cost forecasts, variance analyses, and project profitability assessments. Present findings and recommendations to senior management and project stakeholders.
4. Change Management: Evaluate and process change orders and additional funding requests, ensuring proper documentation and approval. Assess the financial impact of changes on project budgets.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on financial goals. Facilitate communication between departments to resolve cost-related issues.
6. Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations. Recommend and implement cost control best practices and tools.
7. Forecasting: Develop and maintain cost forecasting models to predict future financial performance of projects. Analyze historical data to inform future budgeting processes

REQUIREMENTS
Education and experience
12. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, or a related field.
13. Experience: Minimum of 6 years in project cost control, financial analysis, or project management, preferably in data center or construction projects.
Qualifications
14. Proficient in project management software and financial modeling tools.
15. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
16. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
17. certifications: Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM, Cost Engineer) are a plus
