Your mission We’re building the operating system for heat pump installations, and AI is the secret sauce to scale our vision. Your mission? Design and deploy AI systems that turn rookies into experts, eliminate installation errors, and make "Lubo" the brain behind every successful technician. This isn’t just another AI role—you’ll build foundational systems from scratch and see them impact real-world installations weekly. Our AI/tech playground Core stack : Next.js, TypeScript, Postgres, Google Cloud (Vertex AI, Vision AI, Gemini) AI tools : PyTorch/TensorFlow for custom models, LLMs (Gemini, GPT-4), real-time voice APIs Data pipeline : ClickHouse/Tinybird for analytics, custom CMS integrations (Strapi/Hygraph) Mobile : AI features delivered via API to our Flutter app (built by others) WHAT YOU’LL DO Build the AI backbone for operational excellence Create multilingual, step-by-step Guided Installation systems using LLMs and computer vision (think: Lego-like instructions that adapt to technician skill levels) Ship production-ready AI features in Real-time voice/chat assistance pulling from 10,000 installation manuals Photo-based mistake detection (e.g., “Pipe spacing 2cm off spec—adjust before proceeding”) Automated quality assurance that reduces manual checks by 70% Design systems that learn from every installation to optimize future workflows Full-stack AI integration Seamlessly embed AI into our web platform (Next.js frontend Node.js backend) Build APIs that connect Gemini, Vision AI, and custom models to field technicians Optimize latency for real-time voice/image processing at scale Shape our AI culture Pioneer ethical AI practices for blue-collar workplaces Help define what “AI-native craft” means Your profile You’re our match if you: Have 2-4 years of experience shipping AI systems and can navigate full-stack development Get excited about: Edge cases of deploying vision models on construction sites Optimizing RAG pipelines for non-English speakers Building “good enough now, scalable later” solutions Can answer these cold: “How would you compress a vision model for offline use on low-end Android devices?” “Explain fine-tuning vs. prompt engineering tradeoffs for multilingual support” “Debug a Next.js API route that’s timing out on GPU-heavy inference” Bonus superpowers Experience with voice interfaces or IoT sensor integration German language skills to interact without intermediary your users Passion for climate tech, craftmenship and/or upskilling workers Our Engineering Lead Kristian has written a blog post on hiring and our values.
