Data Engineer / Data Analyst (f/m/d) at medi in Bayreuth
Analytics and data – exactly your thing?
Then contribute your expertise as a Data Engineer / Data Analyst (m/f/d) and ensure robust data processes, clean data quality and a modern, scalable infrastructure at medi that makes our financial data optimally usable.
Your tasks:
* Data provision : You ensure the technical basis for the processing and use of various data at medi Analytics.
* Data management : You develop and manage ETL processes (data extractions, transformations and data loadings) from various source systems into data lakes and data warehouses - primarily in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
* Data modeling : You create fact and dimension tables based on data structures - then, together with business analysts, you develop new semantic models and work out analytical solutions.
* Process optimization : They optimize data processing processes in terms of speed, stability, and efficiency.
* Quality & Collaboration : You ensure data quality and consistency and work closely with our business analysts.
You bring the following with you:
* Completed studies in computer science or completed vocational training as an IT specialist
* 3–5 years of professional experience in a data-related or technical environment
* Experience in project management and working with interdisciplinary teams
* Solid knowledge of database technologies, ETL processes and Big Data tools (Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, SQL, DAX)
* Experience in the development of semantic models
* Very good English skills at CEFR level B2 in both spoken and written form.
