Could you be the full-time Infotainment Sub-System Engineer (f/m/d) in Hennigsdorf we’re looking for?
Your Future Role
2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to John Slager and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
We’ll look for you to:
1. Defining and implementing the functional, performance, transverse and train level requirements of the dedicated subsystem.
2. Integrating the subsystem into the train (mechanically and electrically).
3. Defining the Interface (mechanical and electrical) for the dedicated subsystem.
4. Verifying of the subsystem (focus on train level) including design reviews.
5. Change and configuration management process for the subsystem on train level.
6. Control of changes after design changes including impact analysis.
7. Planning and follow up of all activities linked to the subsystem.
8. Support sourcing, suppliers, PUs, S&A Engineers, Interior engineers, RAMS engineers, and validation engineers.
9. Providing inputs to engineering team, sourcing, suppliers or PUs.

10. Minimum BA degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
11. Having 2-3 years of relevant work experience as a System Engineer in the railway, aerospace or automotive industries will help you perform well in this job.
12. System Engineering Mindset and Good Business Acumen are very important to this role.
13. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to lead a meeting internally and with suppliers, writing and synthesis ability, curiosity, and constructive spirit.
14. Good communications skills.
15. Very good technical understanding of complex systems interacting in a network.
16. Fluent in English, German is a nice-to-have.
