We are looking for a person to fill the role of LAND SITE MANAGER for the German corridor project, a series of massive underground high-voltage direct current (HVDC) cable projects designed to transport electricity from wind farms in the North Sea to southern Germany.
Main duties include:
* Coordination of site superintendents of different project sections
* Act as a point of contact for the customer and third parties to oversee the activities related to the power cable and optical system that are required prior to installation and during installation.
* Act as an interface between the customer, contractors, and subcontractors for cable installation to plan activities, review the execution of construction work, and inspect infrastructure.
* Develop/Improve handover and other key Site Management Processes together with relevant stakeholders.
* Support on planning for critical resources/equipment for Site Management and verification of alignment with client plan.
* Development and Maintenance of Site Management action plan with critical activities impacting site activities (handover, defects closure, NCs)
* Leading the preparation of procedural instructions and other documentation required for the execution of on-site work in cooperation with relevant functions.
* Managing contractual requirements.
* Reporting to Project Director
* Language requirements: German and English
