About the Role
As a senior sales leader, you will focus on acquiring and managing relationships with large shipping companies, delivering high-value IoT solutions for asset visibility and tracking. You will collaborate with global teams, develop sales strategies, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
1. Revenue Growth: Drive sales and meet or exceed revenue targets for IoT hardware and software in maritime.
2. Account Acquisition: Identify and close deals with large shipping firms, emphasizing operational and supply chain efficiencies.
3. Value-Based Selling: Demonstrate ROI and value of IoT solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
4. Strategy & Planning: Develop go-to-market plans for large maritime accounts.
5. Market Insights: Provide feedback on customer needs and market trends to leadership.
6. Collaboration: Work with product, marketing, and engineering teams to support customer success.
7. Reporting: Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related fields; MBA preferred.
* 10+ years in B2B sales, with success in software/services, especially in supply chain or maritime sectors.
* Deep understanding of maritime logistics and supply chain dynamics.
* Proven hunter mentality with experience closing complex deals.
* Expertise in consultative, value-based selling.
* Leadership skills with experience managing sales teams.
* Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Preferred Skills
* Experience with international sales and multi-national clients.
* Knowledge of IoT technologies, networking protocols, and data analytics in maritime logistics.
* Experience managing long sales cycles in enterprise environments.
