Business Development Manager Defence & Space Central Europe (dfm)
Sie berichten an unseren Vice President Defence & Space, der in Frankreich seinen Sitz hat.
Ihre Arbeitszeit verbringen Sie zu einem kleinen Teil in Stade in Niedersachsen, aber Sie arbeiten die meiste Zeit hybrid.
Ihre Aufgaben:
1. Key Account Management: Manage the relationship between Hexcel and existing key customers to achieve or exceed the targeted level of sales, maintaining expected levels of profitability and service.
2. Identifying new markets, partners, and customers; analyzing market trends and competitive landscapes.
3. Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior decision-makers at government agencies, prime contractors, customers and industry leaders.
4. Overseeing the development of proposals, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning for major pursuits, ensuring adherence to regulations.
5. Developing and supporting strategic partnerships to drive innovation and generate new business opportunities with both new and existing customers.
6. Setting business development goals, objectives, budgets, and policies; measuring and reporting results.
7. Collaborating with Sales & Marketing, R&T, Technical Support and other stakeholders to align offerings with customer needs and ensure successful project execution.
8. Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance market presence and establish expertise.
9. Ensuring adherence to relevant policies in Central Europe (Germany, Austria, Poland, the Baltic States, Czech Republic, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, …)
Ihr Qualifikationsprofil:
10. Deep understanding of the specific areas within Defense (e.g., Air Force, Navy, Army, Space). A previous experience in Defense & Space or in Composite domain is a plus but not required.
11. Understanding of the Defense industry (Aerospace, Marine, Land), government contracting, and market dynamics.
12. Expertise in negotiating contracts, securing partnerships, and closing deals.
13. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders.
14. Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business development goals.
15. Familiarity with DoD procurement procedures, and Central Europe (German) government contracting regulations.
16. Experience in managing proposals, budgets, and project timelines.
17. Excellent German speaker is required, professional proficiency in English is also expected
