CSA Construction Manager (Steel Works) – Contract role
I am currently on the lookout for a CSA Construction Manager for a role in Frankfurt, Germany. I am acting on behalf of a well-established and respected business based out of Ireland who are operating heavily in Data Centre Industry.
This is an opportunity to join a company who has projects commencing throughout the globe with exponential growth in their Data Centre Division.
To be considered for this CSA Construction Manager (Steel Works) role:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in supervising or managing structural steel works or heavy construction packages on large industrial or data centre projects.
* Strong technical knowledge of steel erection, welding, bolting, lifting operations, temporary works, and the full design–to–construction process.
* Proven ability to manage subcontractors, including coordination, progress tracking, manpower oversight, and quality & safety management.
* Trade background or relevant third‑level qualification in engineering, construction management, steel fabrication, or a related discipline.
* Excellent understanding of construction safety standards, including working at height, lifting operations, and hot‑work controls.
* Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to clearly convey needs, risks, and progress to project teams and subcontractors.
* Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, fabrication detailing, connection designs, erection sequences, and material schedules.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑track environment, maintaining high levels of organisation and attention to detail.
* Proven commitment to quality and safety, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and driving solutions.
* Flexibility to adapt to site conditions, extended hours, or shift patterns when required.
