Then come and join our global team as Innovation Project Lead (f/m/d) 3D Reconstruction in Angiography, to drive forward our innovations in the field of cancer therapy and surgery for the benefit of our customers and their patients. Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours. Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries. Your tasks and responsibilities: You will lead innovation projects in an international environment, working closely with experienced clinicians, scientists and leading opinion leaders. You will independently plan and implement algorithms for 3D image processing and reconstruction for angiographic imaging in the field of interventional oncology applications. In collaboration with internal and external partners, you will develop algorithms, applications and prototypes and oversee their transition into the R&D process and commercialisation. You will monitor technological developments and the competition, and derive relevant insights for our portfolio. Together with cooperation partners, you will produce scientific publications and actively contribute to the development of our IP portfolio. You will present and discuss our innovations in a manner tailored to the audience, both to customers and internal decision-making bodies. To find out more about the specific business, have a look at https://www.siemens-healthineers.com/de/products-services Your qualifications and experience: You have successfully completed a degree in engineering, (medical) physics, computer science or mathematics You have many years of professional experience in R&D, pre-development or innovation – alternatively, you hold a PhD combined with relevant professional experience in the above-mentioned field. You have in-depth knowledge of the reconstruction of medical 3D (X-ray) image data, ideally using AI methods or with a focus on quantitative results. You have excellent programming skills. You have extensive experience in leading innovation or development projects. Your attributes and skills: You are confident in communicating in English and have a good command of German; you are able to present complex content clearly and in a manner appropriate to the target audience. You are happy to travel internationally (approx. 15%). You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary environment, think creatively and find solution-oriented approaches to challenging problems. You act independently and with a focus on results, and actively contribute to bringing ideas into the organisation and developing them further.
