Job Overview
We are seeking a Logistics Team Lead to manage our inventory management system. This role involves leading a small team of up to 3-5 colleagues, ensuring timely and order-compliant flow of goods from incoming goods through picking to outgoing goods and handling.
The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics environments and initial experience in personnel management. They should also be able to build sustainable relationships with customers and handle customer inquiries and complaints.
In this role, you will work actively in the area, get to know all processes, and create ideas for process improvement projects (CIP).
Responsibilities
* Manage a small team of up to 5 colleagues to process, book and control inventory management system.
* Timely and order-compliant manage flow of goods from incoming goods through picking to outgoing goods and handling.
* Carry out inventories and form link between operational shift managers, dispatch, scheduling and customers.
* Build sustainable relationships with customers and handle customer inquiries and complaints.
* Work actively in the area, get to know all processes and create ideas for CIP projects to improve processes.

For success in this role, you will need several years of professional experience in logistics environment and initial experience in personnel management. You should also have completed training as warehouse logistics specialist, forwarding agent, logistics manager or comparable qualification in logistics field.
A high affinity for use and analysis of databases, development of key figures, accounting and logistics controlling is required. Structured and independent way of working, strong communication, moderation and presentation skills are necessary. You should also be confident and committed to motivate your team and create a pleasant working atmosphere.
High focus on results, strong implementation skills and willingness to change are essential for this role.
