Financial Law Specialist
The Financial Law Specialist will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the stability of the financial sector by overseeing supervisory activities related to capital markets.
This includes analysing and processing legal questions concerning market abuse, disclosure requirements of listed companies, takeovers, and supervision of market operators.
* Conduct investigations into market abuse and draft relevant investigation reports
* Process files related to international cooperation
* Analyse suspicious transaction and order reports
* Contribute to the development of the legal framework in terms of capital markets
Your Profile
To be successful in this position, you should possess:
* A Master's degree in Law, preferably with a focus on financial law or business law (4-5 years)
* A complementary training certificate in Luxembourg law is an asset
* A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the financial sector, ideally in capital markets
* Proficiency in French and English, with German and Luxembourgish being an advantage
* Strong knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework of the financial sector
* Critical thinking and excellent drafting, analytical, and synthesis skills
* Strong sense of rigour, discretion, and organisation
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
