Job Description
As a Senior Partner Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Ideal Partner Profile (IPP), conducting market and competitive analyses to identify suitable partners across industries and geographies, and defining relevant target groups such as data resellers, software resellers, and referral partners. You will establish selection criteria and a scoring model, oversee onboarding processes, and collaborate closely with Marketing to execute targeted recruitment campaigns via digital channels. Clear ramp-up objectives, regular feedback loops, and close alignment with industry sales teams will ensure long-term success.
Main responsibilities, tasks, duties:
Development of the Ideal Partner Profile (IPP):
1. Design and implement partner programs, including the definition of target profiles, qualification criteria, and value propositions.
2. Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify and evaluate potential partners.
3. Define target groups: data resellers, software resellers, and referral partners.
Partner Recruitment Strategy (in collaboration with Marketing):
4. Establish selection criteria including market presence, technological expertise, sales capacity, reputation, and strategic fit.
5. Develop a scoring model to assess potential partners.
6. Define onboarding and development stages.
7. Collaborate with Marketing to create targeted campaigns for partner acquisition.
8. Leverage digital channels, events, and referral programs to engage potential partners.
Onboarding & Ramp-Up:
9. Define ramp-up goals and KPIs for the first 6–12 months.
10. Conduct regular check-ins and feedback sessions to ensure partner success.
11. Provide partners with a comprehensive handbook and access to relevant tools and resources.
Qualifications
12. University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable qualification.
13. Proven experience in building and managing partner ecosystems, particularly with data and software resellers as well as referral partners.
14. Expertise in developing and optimizing partner programs and incentive structures.
15. Ability to design and manage pricing frameworks and margin models, with a strong understanding of compliance requirements (especially for data resellers).
16. Strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
17. High level of initiative, results orientation, and ability to manage complex projects independently.
18. Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in the B2B sector.
19. Proficiency in CRM systems and digital tools.
20. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
