As a Tech Lead at AskUI, you will drive the technical vision, strategy, and execution of our AI-driven automation platform. You will guide and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring the delivery of scalable, high-performance, and maintainable solutions. Your key responsibilities include:
* Defining and driving the technical roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
* Leading and mentoring engineers to foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
* Making architectural decisions and guiding best practices to ensure scalability, security, and reliability.
* Working hands-on with the team to develop and optimize core features of our automation platform.
* Collaborating closely with product managers, AI researchers, and designers to create seamless solutions.
* Driving continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and workflows.
* Ensuring code quality, testing, and deployment best practices are followed.
* Advocating for innovation and staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Your Profile
Requirements:
* 3 - 4 years proven experience as a Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, or similar leadership role.
* Proficiency with at least one frontend framework (e.g., Next.js, Angular, React).
* Deep knowledge of software architecture and design, with a focus on distributed systems, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD), hexagonal architecture, event-driven architecture, and understanding of quality trees and scenarios.
* Experience with diverse databases and storage solutions, including relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and cloud storage options (e.g., S3, Snowflake).
* Experience working with modern Agentic Frameworks like LangChain, SmolAgents, or Crew.ai.
* Experience working with modern LLM / LAM Model Providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Bytedance, or DeepSeek, with a strong understanding of integrating AI models into product solutions.
* Experience in leading agile teams and delivering high-impact products in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven decision-making approach.
* Thorough experience with most of the phases of the DevOps LifeCycle (and at least a clear picture of and interest in learning about the rest of the phases).

* Integrating and deploying it.
* Operating and monitoring the software.
* Debugging and fixing bugs.
* Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Passion for AI-driven automation and its transformative potential.
* Fluency in English.
Bonus:
* Hands-on experience with agentic AI, large language models (LLMs), or reinforcement learning.
* Expertise in DevOps, MLOps, or AI Ops.
* Experience with security and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).
* Background in performance optimization, high-scale systems, and observability.
* Previous experience in a startup or high-growth tech company.
