Corporate Legal & Compliance
The responsibilities of a legal and compliance department in a company are diverse and aimed at ensuring that the company complies with applicable laws and regulations. Here are some of the main tasks:
Legal Advice: The legal department provides legal counsel and support on various matters to ensure that the company is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Contract Management: The department is responsible for creating, reviewing, and managing contracts to ensure that the company's interests are protected and contracts meet legal requirements.
Compliance Monitoring: The compliance department monitors compliance with legal requirements and regulatory obligations to ensure that the company avoids legal violations.
Risk Management: The department identifies and assesses legal risks for the company and develops strategies to minimize these risks.
Training and Awareness: The legal and compliance department provides training and educational materials to employees to ensure that they understand and adhere to relevant laws and regulations.
Investigations: In the case of violations or potential breaches of laws or company policies, the department conducts internal investigations to uncover the matter and take appropriate actions.
Data Protection: Given the increasing importance of data protection, the department monitors compliance with data protection regulations and policies, especially in relation to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other data protection laws.
Ethics and Integrity: The department promotes ethical behavior and integrity throughout the company and develops policies and procedures to prevent conflicts of interest.
Litigation: When the company is involved in legal disputes, the legal department represents the company's interests in court and negotiates out-of-court settlements.

Tasks:
* Preparation and delivery of compliance training on topics such as discrimination, corruption, and data protection
* Preparation and follow-up of notary appointments (e.g., managing director appointments, property purchases, mergers)
* Maintenance of the online training tool
* Preparation of PowerPoint presentations
You will learn:
* Understanding of corporate legal and compliance processes
* How to conduct compliance training and ensure adherence to regulations
* Experience with contract and notary appointment management
* Skills in handling online training tools and legal documentation
Your Profile:
* Willingness to learn and strong communication skills
* Very good German and English skills
* Proficiency in PowerPoint
* Interest in darts or table tennis is a plus
