 
        Description Are you passionate about numbers, structure, and making an impact in a global environment? We're looking for an experienced accountant who wants to take ownership, drive accuracy, and collaborate across borders in a truly international finance team. Responsibilities What you’ll do: Take ownership of the monthly financial close for our German entities – ensuring revenues and costs are recorded accurately and on time. Keep balance sheet accounts clean and reconciled. Work closely with colleagues across the US, UK, and Europe to deliver a smooth month-end close. Ensure compliance with both corporate accounting policies and German GAAP (HGB) requirements. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and analyses, including tracking US GAAP vs. HGB differences. Partner with external auditors and support statutory reporting and audits. Support the corporate tax team with filings and audits. Maintain strong internal controls in a SOX-compliant environment. Get involved in ad-hoc projects and process improvements – your ideas matter! Qualifications What you’ll bring: 5 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally within an international or US-based group. Strong knowledge of German GAAP / HGB; US GAAP knowledge is a plus. Experience with DATEV and LODAS is essential. Solid ERP background (Oracle Fusion experience is a big plus). Degree in Accounting, ideally with an IHK-certified Balance Sheet Accountant qualification. Detail-oriented, self-driven, and organized – you own your work. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, fluent in English (German a plus). Confident with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
