The Role We’re looking for a Senior Social Media Manager who lives and breathes platforms, culture, and storytelling — someone who knows how to turn ideas into scroll-stopping content and strategies into long-term brand momentum. At HY.AM, we create social-first strategies and content that move people and build brands. You’ll be at the centre of it — leading strategy, driving content planning, and managing multiple clients with clarity and confidence. You grew up online — fluent in the rhythm of social, the nuances of each platform, and what makes a brand feel relevant today. You know how to plan, brief, and execute content that connects — while keeping an eye on data, community, and growth. As part of HY.AM’s social team, you’ll partner closely with our Account, Creative, and Production teams to run multiple client accounts end to end — from strategy and content calendars to creative and production briefings, reporting, and community engagement. You’ll ensure our work is on-brief, on-brand, and ahead of what’s next. What You’ll Do Strategy & Editorial Planning Build and evolve social-first strategies tailored to each client’s goals, audience, and brand identity. Lead editorial and content planning, creating clear calendars that connect storytelling, creativity, and performance. Develop content concepts and creative/production briefings that spark ideas and align internal teams on direction. Stay plugged into culture — translating trends, insights, and platform shifts into ideas clients can act on. Content Management & Publishing Oversee the creation, approval, and publishing of content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other key channels. Ensure every piece of content feels native, relevant, and true to the brand’s tone of voice. Work closely with designers, editors, strategists, and the production team to bring concepts to life across platforms. Manage multiple accounts simultaneously with structure and precision — balancing creative speed with operational excellence. Client Management & Reporting Act as the go-to contact for day-to-day social media management — ensuring seamless communication and delivery. Create and deliver performance reports that go beyond numbers, turning data into insight and next-step recommendations. Support Account and Key Account Managers with strategic input, campaign recaps, and client presentations. Monitor and respond to community interactions in collaboration with the Community Management team. What You Bring 4–6 years of experience in social media management, strategy, or content planning within a creative or social media agency. Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts, from planning and briefing to reporting and optimisation. Deep knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, and an instinct for what works across each platform. Snapchat is a plus. Experience in editorial calendar creation, content briefings, and creative collaboration. Sharp eye for content quality, tone, and cultural relevance. Analytical mindset — comfortable tracking KPIs and transforming results into actionable recommendations. Organised, proactive, and collaborative — you bring structure to creative chaos and keep teams aligned. Fluency in English and German (spoken and written).
