A day in the life
You’ll spend your time meeting with customers, nurturing distributor relationships, and uncovering new market opportunities. Expect to balance strategic account management with on-the-ground technical support, ensuring customers receive both high-value solutions and excellent service.
What you’ll do
* Manage and grow sales across your territory, building long-term customer and distributor relationships
* Develop and implement sales and marketing programs for targeted markets and products
* Negotiate local contracts and agreements with customers and partners
* Lead global/European account activities in your region, including pricing strategies
* Identify new markets and opportunities for products and services
* Provide technical support to customers and distributors
* Track and report on market trends, competitor activity, and sales opportunities via CRM
Must-haves
* Degree in Chemical or Technical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
* Several years’ commercial experience in B2B consumables
* Strong background in Metalworking Fluids or Industrial Lubricants
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
* Ability to work across cultures and build lasting relationships
Nice-to-haves
* Established network within the metalworking industry
* Experience managing European/global accounts
