Responsibilities
As an intern in Sustainability Management, you will become an integral part of TeamViewer’s ESG & Sustainability function. You will support the development and implementation of key sustainability initiatives and gain hands-on experience in how a global tech company drives its environmental and social impact. This role is ideal for students who want to deepen their practical experience in corporate sustainability, ESG reporting, and climate strategy.
1. Drive sustainability initiatives: Support the team in implementing effective ESG strategies and programs across the organization.
2. Coordinate ESG meetings & workshops: Take ownership in preparing, facilitating, and following up on sustainability-related meetings, workshops, and cross-functional working sessions.
3. Contribute to climate action: Help identify and execute opportunities that support TeamViewer’s climate targets aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
4. Monitor ESG trends: Conduct market screenings to identify emerging ESG trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in the software and tech industry.
5. Support ESG reporting: Assist in preparing qualitative and quantitative sustainability reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
6. Enable internal communication: Contribute to internal communication on ESG activities to raise awareness and promote engagement.
Requirements
7. You are currently enrolled in a degree program in sustainability management, environmental sciences, business, or a related field (all genders).
8. Ideally, you have completed at least five semesters and gained initial practical experience through internships, projects, or student work.
9. You are fluent in German and English, both written and verbal.
10. You bring a strong sustainability mindset and genuine enthusiasm for ESG, climate action, and corporate responsibility.
11. Knowledge of ESG-related frameworks (e.g., SBTi, EU Taxonomy, SASB, CSRD) is a plus.
12. You have strong organizational abilities, a structured and detail-oriented working style, and solid communication skills.
13. You enjoy working in a dynamic team environment and approach tasks proactively with a hands-on mindset.

16. Our Working Students in Germany receive a monthly salary of €1,566 for a 20-hour/week contract, €1,253 for a 16-hour/week contract, and €1,400 for an internship position.
