Job Description
Sr. Finance Manager EPM Systems (M/F/D) is responsible for the system administration, process automation, development, and optimization of the consolidation software LucaNet to ensure efficient financial reporting, planning, and consolidation processes. The main purpose of the role is to ensure the efficient and accurate financial consolidation, reporting, and planning processes by managing and optimizing the consolidation software. The role also involves providing technical and functional expertise to enhance financial transparency, compliance, and decision-making within the organization.
The consolidation software LucaNet is utilized by the Group Accounting and Controlling Teams, where it plays a critical role in consolidation, reporting, and financial planning. New processes and enhancements implemented in the software. Given the numerous finance initiatives, LucaNet remains a central tool that requires continuous development to meet the evolving needs of the finance departments.
We are seeking a highly skilled LucaNet specialist with strong technical expertise, capable of working independently. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience with LucaNet from a technical perspective, rather than just as a finance user. Professionals with backgrounds at LucaNet or in similar roles within international groups are particularly relevant.
Administration and Development:
* Serve as the primary technical expert and administrator for the consolidation software, ensuring smooth operation and optimal system performance.
* Maintain and develop the consolidation software environment, including configurations, data models, and reporting structures.
* Support the implementation of upgrades, patches, and enhancements in coordination with IT and finance teams.
* Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency within the consolidation software.
* Develop and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency in financial consolidation and reporting processes.
Financial Consolidation and Reporting:
* Provide technical support for the consolidation process, ensuring compliance with applicable GAAP requirements.
* Assist the Group Accounting team in preparing consolidated financial statements and management reports.
* Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process by ensuring data quality and system reliability.
* Design and optimize financial reports and dashboards within the consolidation software to enhance decision-making capabilities.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Support:
* Assist the FP&A team with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting using the consolidation software.
* Develop and enhance reporting tools to support financial analysis and decision-making.
* Provide technical support for scenario analysis and performance tracking.
* Ensure integration between financial consolidation and FP&A processes for more accurate reporting and planning.
Business Support and Stakeholder Management:
* Collaborate closely with Group Accounting, Controlling, and IT to align system functionality with business requirements.
* Train and support finance teams on the consolidation software usage, best practices, and troubleshooting.
* Act as a key point of contact for external consultants and auditors regarding consolidation software-related topics.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
* 5+ years of relevant industry experience in administration, development, and optimization of a consolidation software, preferrably LucaNet.
* Strong knowledge of the consolidation software Financial Consolidation, Planning, and Reporting modules, including configurations, data models, and reporting structures.
* Ability to design and implement custom reports, dashboards, and analysis tools in the consolidation software.
* Experience with the consolidation software scripting and custom formula creation.
* Strong understanding of accounting, IFRS, other GAAPs and financial consolidation principles.
* Understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
* Proficiency in English is mandatory, both written and verbal. German is a nice to have.
