Design, Engineering & Estimation Manager

Our work focuses on developing high-quality, compliant systems that support the safety, reliability, and performance of buildings and critical assets. We are looking for an experienced Design, Engineering & Estimation Manager to lead technical delivery, standardisation, and continuous improvement across multiple projects.
Lead and manage design, engineering, and estimation functions, ensuring consistent, high-quality outputs
Oversee the development of technical designs, calculations, and specifications for both tenders and live projects
Provide technical oversight across the full project lifecycle to ensure alignment between design intent and execution
Support project teams with technical guidance, design clarification, and issue resolution
Establish and improve structured processes across design, engineering, estimation, and project delivery functions
Develop and standardise documentation, including design calculations, cost breakdowns, quality documentation, commissioning records, and final project documentation
Implement and maintain robust document control procedures, including version management and approval tracking
Mentor and develop team members across design, estimation, and engineering disciplines
Conduct regular technical reviews, audits, and performance evaluations across projects
Analyse project performance by comparing estimated vs. Work closely with commercial, operational, and business development teams to ensure alignment across all project phases
Support client and consultant engagement on technical and engineering matters
Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related discipline
Strong experience in design, estimation, and project engineering within a technical or construction environment
Good understanding of full project lifecycle delivery, from tender through to completion
Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management and development
Fluent in English (additional languages may be beneficial depending on region)
