Design and Develop Electrical Systems
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled senior electrical engineer to join our team. As a senior electrical engineer at lea-sa, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining electro-mechanical sub-systems for the satellite ground segment and the rubber industry testing equipment.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Leading the design of electrical installations and controller solutions for the satellite ground segment and the rubber industry testing equipment
* Defining, documenting, implementing, and testing new concepts, features, and technologies in existing or new products
* Creating and/or supervising and reviewing the creation of production documentation, user manuals, and test procedures
* Providing guidance and expertise to colleagues
* Starting-up in-house designed machinery and commercial components
You will also interact with internal & external customers and suppliers to promote, improve, and troubleshoot our customer's electrical and automated solutions. This includes presenting, explaining, and defending important features and concepts in discussions with the customers and using their feedback to improve and troubleshoot the products.
In order to succeed in this role, you should have a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or automation engineering, as well as at least 5 years of experience in the design of electrical installations, electrical safety concepts, including electro-mechanical devices such as motors, and related drawings (EPLAN P8).
A good team spirit, ability to work in an English-speaking environment, including technical discussions and documentation activities, is essential. German, French, and Luxembourgish are considered as a plus. Control theory background and knowledge of PLC programming languages (Java, C++ or Python) is also considered a plus.
Requirements:
