Project Description
The PSYCH-GPT project explores how large language models (LLMs) can advance psychiatric research and clinical applications, focusing on disorders like mania, depression, and schizophrenia through behavioral and fMRI data analysis. It aims to develop AI tools for diagnosis and treatment prediction, bridging neuroscience and AI.
Your Role
* Design and conduct fMRI experiments with language stimuli
* Develop brain-language model analyses
* Analyze clinical language data
* Present findings at conferences and publish
* Collaborate with researchers and AI experts
Early Career Support
Includes enrollment in the GRADE Brain Neuroscience PhD program, participation in the LOEWE-DYNAMIC curriculum, presentation training, and optional clinical shadowing.
Candidate Profile
* Master's in Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, Linguistics, Psychology, Computer Science, or related
* Basic Python skills; NLP/ML experience a plus
* Interest in computational psychiatry
* Neuroimaging analysis experience preferred
* Fluent in English; German beneficial
* Proof of measles immunity required
