Your prospective job:
For our customer AIrbus Defence and Space you are acting as a Junior Software Engineer in Simulation Eurofighter (m/f/d) at the location Manching.
Your responsibilities:
6. Develop Simulation models representing aircraft equipment within the simulation (mainly C++)
7. Develop tools to stimulate Simulators and Simulations
8. Create and perform unit tests of Software modules
9. Create tools for improving our development processes (e.g. code generators)
10. Integrate models into the aircraft simulation (C++/Ada)
11. Perform integration testing
12. Documentation of the appropriate software modules
Your profile:
13. Completed studies in computer science, aerospace or a comparable
14. Experience in software design & testing
and in unit, system testing and software integration is mandatory
15. Handling of Agile Development Methodologies is desired
16. Previous experience with the Eurofighter aircraft is a plus
17. Good knowledge of the following tools / technologies is necessary:
18. C/C++
19. Scripting languages (Bash, Python)
20. Linux (Debian, SLES, RHEL)
21. Continuous Integration & Continuous build system (Jenkins)
22. Software version control (Git)
23. Communication Protocols & Frameworks (TCP, UDP, Websockets, DIS, HLA, ...)
24. Fluent English skills both spoken and written
25. German knowledge is nice to have
26. Ready to travel abroad (once a year, mainly within the EU)
