The Opportunity
This Investment Counsellor role is focused on managing relationships with high-net-worth clients from our office in Luxembourg. Your ability to understand client needs and educate them on portfolio changes is crucial to success. You will report to a Team Manager who will aid in your professional development.
* Build long-standing relationships with clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service
* Manage a book of high-net-worth relationships with approximately €100-150 million in assets
* Act as a conduit between clients, our Investment Policy Committee, research and trading departments, and several service teams
* Proactively update clients on portfolio changes, financial markets, current market strategy, and investment philosophy
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need:
* At least 2 years' experience working with private clients within banking/wealth management
* A sound knowledge of financial concepts, markets, current events, and market trends
* Native Norwegian and native or fluent English language skills; proficiency in other European languages is beneficial
* The ability to connect with and educate diverse audiences
* Maintain a positive personality and empathise with clients in good times and bad
* MiFID certification, training or equivalent
* CFA or similar education is beneficial
