We are seeking a Project Director for HVDC projects to lead large-scale electrical transmission and distribution initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and excellence in safety and quality. Responsibilities include:
* Leading the execution of multi-million-dollar EPC mega-projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
* Providing leadership and support to a diverse, global team of professionals.
* Promoting a culture of safety and quality throughout project lifecycle.
* Managing project risks, changes, and opportunities proactively.
* Owning project P&L, including budget planning and management.
* Building relationships and communicating effectively with stakeholders, clients, subcontractors, and partners.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
* Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
* Proven experience in delivering large EPC/turnkey projects in power, energy, or industrial sectors.
* Experience with power generation, transmission, distribution, or power conversion (HVDC, substations).
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Knowledge of risk assessment, project methodologies, and regulations; PMP/PMI certification is a plus.
* Ability to analyze complex contracts and adapt to unforeseen situations.
* High resilience to stress, flexibility, and creativity.
