Responsibilities
1. Build and scale a modern enterprise analytics platform based on Microsoft Fabric, delivering reusable and governed data products from ingestion through business consumption.
2. Build and operate Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse layers (Bronze / Silver / Gold)
3. Develop data pipelines, notebooks, and SQL as well as SQL/Spak transformations
4. Migrate existing SQL Server logic to Microsoft Fabric
5. Apply AI-assisted approaches to translate legacy SQL code into Python
6. Design and implement data products and semantic models for reporting and analytics
7. Implement security and governance mechanisms ( RLS, group-based access)
8. Work in an agile Jira environment with bi-weekly sprints
9. Close collaboration with developers, architects, and project management, with a strong focus on communication
Profile
10. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams (requirements are not always fully specified and need to be clarified through communication)
11. Excellent skills in SQL and Python / Spark for data engineering
12. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
13. Experience in data modelling and BI semantic layers
14. Proven experience working in agile projects using Jira
