Your mission
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Communications professional to join our team in Germany. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communication initiatives that enhance our corporate reputation, engage key stakeholders, and support business objectives across the German market. The role will align with Rivada’s strategic communications program to ensure that Rivada Space Networks GmbH is seen as a key component of of the German “NewSpace“ ecosystem. This role is based in Munich, Germany and reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
This includes:
* Strategic Communications: Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies and plans aligned with the company’s values and objectives within Germany and the EU
* Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with German media outlets, journalists, and influencers. Draft press releases, coordinate media interviews, and manage crisis communications
* Monitoring & Reporting: Track media coverage, analyse communication outcomes, and prepare regular reports for senior management
* Stakeholder Engagement (External): Liaise with key stakeholders such as business partners, government agencies, and industry associations to promote the company’s initiatives and reputation
* Stakeholder Engagement (Internal): Liaise with the Deputy CEO, Business Development Director and coordinate with Regulatory Affairs & Lobbyists to ensure alignment across all outreach activities
* Event Management:Organise and support corporate events, press conferences, and other public affairs activities in Germany
* Brand Management: Ensure consistent corporate brand messaging and positioning across all communication channels, including digital, print, and events
What you bring on the table
* Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate communications, preferably within the German Satcom market
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German (native or fluent) and English
* Strong network of media contacts in Germany is highly desirable
* Experience in crisis communications and managing reputational issues
* Proficiency in digital and social media platforms
* Ability to work independently and as part of an international team
* Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills
* Proactive and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* High level of cultural awareness and understanding of the German space business landscape
* Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
* Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence

About us
Rivada Space Networks is deploying the Outernet: the first unified global communications network. Rivada's global low-latency point-to-point network of 600 low earth orbit (LEO) satellites is a unique next-generation constellation combining inter-satellite laser links with advanced onboard processing and routing to create a ubiquitous optical mesh network in space. This "orbital network," in which data stays in space from origin to destination, creates an ultra-secure satellite network with pole-to-pole coverage, offering end-to-end latencies much lower than terrestrial fiber over long distances. And by routing traffic on a physically separated network, it provides a layer of defense for any organization that needs to securely share data between widely distributed sites.
