You will be the driving force behind the development, scaling, and long-term maintenance of modern, high-performance dashboards that visualize real-time data.
This role is perfect for someone who loves to work across frontend and backend, building intuitive user interfaces while ensuring clean, scalable Python services behind the scenes.
You will own the full lifecycle: from UI/UX implementation and backend integration to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Expect to work closely with product, data, and engineering people, building dashboards that are not just beautiful, but reliable, fast, and built to scale.
What you will do
Build and maintain interactive, data-heavy dashboards using React. Design clean, scalable frontend architectures with modern state management
Develop and maintain Python-based backend services and APIs (FastAPI) for data delivery. Connect dashboards to PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, real-time data sources, and external systems.
Optimize dashboards for performance, scalability, and responsiveness. Containerize, deploy, and monitor services using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows
Continuously improve existing dashboards with a strong focus on stability, usability, and maintainability. Collaborate across teams to transform business and product requirements into production-ready dashboard solutions

You bring strong full stack engineering skills and enjoy owning features from pixel to production. You are reliable, detail-oriented, and curiou, someone who enjoys building complex, long-living products that users depend on daily.
What you bring
Strong experience with React (hooks, state management, component architecture)
Strong Python skills for backend development and API design
Solid understanding of full stack system architecture and data-driven applications
Experience with PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, Docker, and modern deployment workflows
Confidence in API integration, authentication, and real-time data handling
Ownership mindset, you care about performance, clean code, UX quality, and system reliability
Clear communication and a collaborative, team spirit attitude
You communicate fluently in English and also feel confident in German
Bonus Skills
Nice-to-have, but not deal-breakers, if you are eager to learn, we will support you:
Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g. D3.js, Recharts, Chart.js)
Monitoring and observability with Grafana and Prometheus
GitLab-based CI/CD workflows and Kubernetes deployments
Experience with real-time systems (WebSockets, streaming APIs)
You live in or around Hamburg and enjoy working regularly in the office
