To support their continued growth in Germany, we are seeking an exceptional Investment Banking Associate to join our M&A team in either our Frankfurt or Munich office. The Role As an Associate, you will play a key role in the execution of complex transactions and strategic advisory mandates. Working closely with senior bankers, you will be responsible for driving key workstreams, managing analysts, and interacting directly with clients across Europe. Key Responsibilities Lead financial analysis, valuation work (including DCF, trading and transaction comparables), and detailed modelling Support the execution of live M&A and strategic advisory mandates across industries Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, management presentations, board documents, and other deliverables Coordinate project workstreams with internal teams and external advisors (legal, accounting, consulting) Conduct industry and company-specific research to support business development Mentor and guide analysts, ensuring high-quality outputs and professional development About You We are looking for candidates who demonstrate analytical excellence, strong commercial judgement, and a collaborative mindset. You will ideally bring: 3-5 years' experience in investment banking (M&A focus), private equity, or a comparable financial advisory environment Outstanding financial modelling and valuation skills Strong communication abilities and confidence working directly with senior stakeholders Fluency in Englishand German required A proactive attitude, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams under pressure Why Join Us?
