Role Overview As Head of New Business Sales EU (m/f/d), you’ll lead our European new business function, driving growth across Germany and the UK and helping some of Europe’s biggest retailers adopt VoCoVo for the first time. Reporting to the VP of Sales EU, you’ll be accountable for delivering new revenue through enterprise customers, shaping our European new business strategy, and leading teams of Germany-based Senior Business Development Managers and UK-based Business Development Managers. Your focus is firmly on winning new logos and securing large-scale retail rollouts, playing a critical role in VoCoVo’s continued European expansion. What we're looking for We’re looking for a commercially driven, people-focused sales leader who thrives on winning complex enterprise deals and building teams that consistently deliver new business. You’re comfortable setting direction, leading from the front when needed, and creating clarity, pace, and accountability across your teams. You bring strong commercial judgement, use data to inform decisions, and work closely with Marketing, Product, and Client Accounts to ensure new customers are set up for long-term success. Essential experience 10 years in B2B sales, with 5 years in senior sales leadership roles Proven success selling to enterprise retail customers and closing high-value £/€ deals Strong experience selling hardware and SaaS solutions across CAPEX and OPEX models Background in retail technology or in-store solutions Demonstrated success executing international new business and go-to-market strategies Deep understanding of long, complex enterprise sales cycles (9–18 months) Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM discipline (HubSpot preferred) Confident engaging and negotiating with senior and C-suite stakeholders Fluent German and English Nice to have Experience opening new European markets Experience scaling BDM teams in a high-growth environment Understanding of European retail buying dynamics What you'll do Lead VoCoVo’s European new business sales across Germany and the UK Build, coach, and inspire high-performing teams of Senior BDMs and BDMs Own and deliver European new business revenue targets and pipeline health Define and execute a clear, scalable European new business sales strategy Drive consistent sales execution through coaching, forecasting, and process discipline Lead enterprise deal strategy and support complex, high-value negotiations Act as senior escalation point for strategic new business opportunities Partner closely with Marketing to drive demand and pipeline generation Work with Product and Customer Success to ensure strong handovers post-sale Maintain high-quality data, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline visibility in HubSpot Hire, develop, and retain top new business sales talent across Europe Represent VoCoVo at key retail and technology events Salary Salary range: €135,000 - €150,000 base salary per year, plus commission.
