Photodetectors developed at HHI can be found at the end of optical fibers, in scientific detectors (e.g. LIGO, ALMA), in satellites for communication with laser beams and recently also in quantum communication and sensor applications. * Design of InP technology flows for modulators and detectors chips
* Scientific fabrication support of cleanroom staff

What you contribute
* Completed B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in microsystem technology or comparable
* Knowledge in the field of semiconductor technology
* Experience in semiconductor design and optics/photonics is an advantage
* Good spoken and written German is mandatory

The position is initially limited to 2 years. An extension is explicitly desired.
The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
