Your tasks and responsibilities The goal of this work is to develop a concept for the design of a Ground Control Station Software for Multi-UAV Applications with the introduction of a holistic Systems Engineering Approach. The work will include: Development of a modular ground control station for managing multiple UAVs Application of a holistic systems engineering process from requirements to testing Architecture design focusing on scalability, interoperability and real-time performance Coordination and mission planning for multi-UAV scenarios (e.g. formation flight, area coverage) Optional: Integration with simulation platforms such as PX4-SITL, Gazebo or AirSim Desired skills and qualifications Enrolled full time student (d/f/m) within Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or similar.
