The IT department is responsible for and designs the entire IT of the City of Munich. We ensure that IT provision meets the city's current and future needs. We drive the digitalization of the city of Munich and play a pioneering role. Our work and services make the city of Munich a digital metropolis that sets standards that its employees are proud of.
As part of the IT department, we ensure a modern IT and telecommunications infrastructure, implement professional IT solutions and secure the IT operations of the City of Munich with over 1,200 employees in our own company it@M.
What you can expect
The Competence Center IAM is responsible for the holistic and centralized provision of identity management solutions to support and control urban processes. In the service team for login and trust services, we operate backend services that provide interfaces for applications and bundle basic functions for all employees. Our aim is to make authentication and authorization as automated and efficient as possible. Our understanding and way of working are characterized by trust, cohesion, agility and goal orientation. The teams are structured according to a DevOps model.
As a DevOps Engineer for signature services, you will be responsible for the implementation, technical development and operation of our services for advanced and qualified signatures and seals. Your tasks will also include designing processes for the use of signature and seal solutions in other applications. In addition, you will take on advisory tasks for the general use of digital signatures and certificates.

You have
* a successfully completed university degree in computer science, administrative informatics or business informatics or
* a successfully completed university degree or equivalent skills and experience
* and many years (at least three years) of professional experience in the IT sector
In particular, you bring with you
* Specialist knowledge: sound knowledge in the areas of signatures, certificates and IT infrastructure, experience in operating directory services, certificate services and signature services, knowledge of linking different systems and interfaces as well as a confident command of written and spoken German at language level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) (to be proven by a corresponding certificate if necessary). These language skills are required to carry out the above-mentioned activities, in particular for the interface function.
