Unlock Your Potential in Technical Sales

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager to drive growth and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) within their assigned region. This role requires a strong understanding of electronics, optical materials, and components, with the ability to translate technical specifications into customer solutions.


Key Responsibilities

* Drive sales growth and achieve KPIs (revenue, gross margin, share of wallet) within your assigned region.
* Develop new business opportunities and secure orders, including adjacent industries.
* Prepare and negotiate annual contracts, pricing, and forecasts in close alignment with internal stakeholders.
* Act as the primary contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction and handling complaints professionally.
* Monitor market trends and competitors, sharing insights to support strategic decisions.
* Maintain accurate customer data and documentation in CRM systems.
* Represent the company at trade shows and cross-functional meetings.
* Collaborate with cross-functional global teams (Finance, Operations, Marketing) to execute regional strategy.


Requirements

* Master's degree in Optics, Electronics, Physics, or a related Engineering discipline, combined with at least 5 years of proven success in technical sales within an industrial environment.
* Strong understanding of electronics, optical materials, and components, with the ability to translate technical specifications into customer solutions.
* Demonstrated ability to develop strategies, negotiate contracts, and close deals with high-value customers.
* Fluent in English (additional skills in German is a plus) and skilled in building trustful relationships across functions and cultures within a matrix organization.
* Comfortable with market analysis, forecasting, and identifying new business opportunities; willingness to travel internationally as required.
