What to expect:
- This role is responsible for control system scope of a rotating equipment project together with other project members and content provider, mainly System Engineering
- Design and specify Unit Control Systems, Instrumentation, and Low Voltage Wiring systems which compliment Rotating Machinery used in Industrial Applications - namely compression, power generation and Oil-Gas. Design drawings including P&I diagrams, instrument lists, control logics and description, control panel layout, I/O termination, control panel power distribution, instrumentation installation, motor control schematics, hardwired control circuits
- Conduct Unit Control panel factory acceptance tests (FAT)
- Specify and calculate control valves
- Monitors and manages the engineering schedule and hours-budget for the assigned scope, including on-time release of deliverables
- Conducts timely design reviews on the assigned scope and contributes to project design reviews
- Innovate, creatively apply lessons learned, and implement cost-effective solutions for COMOS PT development, requirements management, that prevent non-conformances during project execution
What you bring along:
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree in discipline (Instrumentation/Controls/Electrotechnical)
- 3 years of experience in Rotating Equipment for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and other Process Industry applications, achieved through working on Industrial Applications Products
- Application experience with objects-oriented Engineering Software e.g., COMOS PT
- Knowledge and use of software: Teamcenter, SAP, Jira, Microsoft office
- Know-how of standards: API 670 (Machinery Protection System), IEC 60079 (Explosive Atmosphere Standards), IEC 61511: Functional safety - Safety instrumented systems for the process industry sector
- Proficiency in English and German Language
