KG Organization EVP Global Functions Business Unit Strategic Procurement Full / Part time Part-time Experience Level Student (Not Yet Graduated) Location: ERL S SP 9Mode of Employment: Part-time / Fixed TermA Snapshot of Your Day As a Working Student in the Global Commodity Team of Direct Materials at Siemens Energy, you will support the preparation and execution of projects and transformation activities, collaborating closely within Commodity Management. Your role will involve conducting data analysis, creating strategic recommendations, maintaining databases, and preparing presentations. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement while contributing to improvements and cross-functional collaboration.
How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Support Globlal Commodity Management: Assist in the preparation and execution of projects and transformation initiatives within Siemens Energy’s corporate procurement (Preparation of supplier meetings, Contract preparation, Tracking, Support)
2. Collaborate with Commodity Managers and other relevant internal Partners: Work closely with the procurement organization and in-house organization on tasks related to commodity management, including data analysis and reporting
3. Participate in Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and practices
4. Presentation Preparation: Create compelling and informative PowerPoint presentations to support various procurement initiatives
5. Database Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy and upkeep of procurement-related databases
What You Bring
6. Educational Background: Currently pursuing studies in Engineering, Economics, or Business Administration (minimum 2-3 Semesters)
7. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with keen attention to detail
8. Procurement Knowledge: Good understanding of and interest in procurement processes and strategies
9. IT Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
10. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (German as 2nd language appreciated but not required)
11. Relevant Experience: Previous work experience through internships or similar roles is highly desirable
