With our proven concept of "handcrafted" leather technology, we offer leading manufacturers of high-end vehicles the opportunity to design leather interiors that meet the exquisite tastes and preferences of their customers.In Mülheim an der Ruhr or in the Stuttgart area, Germany, we are looking for aSenior Designer (m/f/d) in CMF (color, material, finish) designYou will work with a cross functional team, comprised of finishing engineers, sales & marketing, color technicians, process engineers and lab technicians to initiate & develop the highest quality leather products for our OEM customers.Your tasks and responsibilities:Work closely with color & trim designers from various OEM'sUnderstanding customer requirements and expectations and translating them into new leather productsDevelop holistic leather design concepts regarding, color and enrichments (perforation, embossing embroidery, quilting, printing, etc.)Translate concept ideas for enrichments into production ready design drawingsTrend research and development of global design and trend presentationsYour qualifications:Bachelor's degree in CMF design (color, material, finish), industrial design, graphic design, textile design or related fieldAt least 8-10 years of professional design experience preferably in the field of mobility designStrong research and design skills in materials and color integration, as well as the ability to identify color nuances and demonstrate color differencesStrong creativity in developing and promoting unique designs and good knowledge of consumer trends and material and color preferencesFluency with MS Office, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as excellent presentation skills are essentialExperience and sensitivity to international work environmentsWell organized, self-managed, and motivated creative with a passion for designIndependent, structured and solution-oriented approach to workFluent communication skills in written and spoken German and English are essentialWe offer you:We offer you equal opportunities and development possibilities in an international environment.
