What you'll do
1. You will support the development and advancement of P3 energy solutions´ proprietary energy system simulation suite (tool is used to design Power-to-X (P2X) plants, energy storage solutions and hydrogen transport infrastructure)
2. You are modeling and simulating physical components and processes along the energy conversion and transport chain in a digital twin environment
3. You are supporting the integration of CO₂ emission tracking and calculation features into the simulation tool
4. You are gaining insights into software development in the context of energy systems and sustainability
5. You are contributing to real-world technical consulting activities and daily project work
6. You will actively engaging with the P3 student community and participating in internal events
Who you are
7. You enjoy coding and are confident working with Python
8. You study a technical subject, ideally with a focus on computer science, energy systems or related fields
9. You have research and data analysis skills
10. You are proactive, able to work independently, and thrive in a team environment
11. You are fluent in English (German skills are a plus)
12. You are available for at least 3 months
13. You are enrolled in a university program and have completed at least your first year of studies
14. Additional desirable skills include: Database management, Communication protocols, APIs, Initial exposure to backend or frontend development, Background in control theory or optimal control problems
