The Robert Bosch GmbH is looking forward to your application! Job Description Are you enthusiastic about the intersection of artificial intelligence and precision engineering? Then take this opportunity, as part of your Master's thesis, to develop a methodology for the tolerance analysis of worm gears. Here, you will actively shape the future of product development and contribute to the optimization of complex systems. During your thesis you will develop a parametric simulation model. Modeling uncertainties will be one of your core tasks to ensure the robustness of the analyses. You will automate the entire simulation workflow. Furthermore, you will independently conduct a global sensitivity analysis (UQ). Finally, you will build and train an AI-based surrogate model. Qualifications Education: Master studies in the field of Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or comparable with good grades Experience and Knowledge: in MATLAB, Python or C++, FEM (Abaqus or Ansys) Personality and Working Practice: you excel at operating with a high degree of autonomy, effectively managing your own priorities and seeing tasks through to completion Work Routine: your on-site presence is required Languages: very good in English Additional Information Start: according to prior agreement Duration: 6 months Requirement for this thesis is the enrollment at university.
