About this job Job description Geminor is a leading international company in the waste and recycling industry with headquarters in Norway. With over 150 employees in 10 countries, we supply waste-to-energy power plants with around 2.3 million tonnes of waste every year and are actively involved in the recycling of waste wood and plastics.
As Business Development Manager
(m/f/d) in Germany, you will play a central role in expanding and managing Geminor’s customer base within waste and resource management. You’ll be responsible for developing commercial opportunities, negotiating contracts, and building long-term relationships with both public and private sector clients.
You will represent Geminor in the German market, while working closely with colleagues across our international sales network in nine countries.

Job requirements Commercial training or business studies
First professional experience in the waste management or recycling industry is an advantage
Knowledge of waste management but not limited
Structured, self-driven and solution-oriented
Strong communication skills, initiative and independent working style
Very good knowledge of speaking and writing German/English
Confident handling of MS Office and IT affinity
Willingness to travel (nationally and internationally)
Job responsibilities Responsibility for thermal and material recycling processes (substitute fuels, waste wood, LVP sorting residues, etc.)
Establishing and maintaining long-term business relationships in Germany and Europe
Analysing market trends and identifying new business opportunities
Contract negotiations and conclusion of supply agreements
Close collaboration with internal teams to optimise supply chains.
