Job Description
You will be actively involved in the further development and stabilization of our production processes. The focus of your work will be on process management on the shop floor (approx. 75%). In addition, you will support quality assurance in day-to-day operations (approx. 25%). The position offers clear development prospects towards independent process responsibility.
* 1. Process management
You will be responsible for the stability, further development, and standardization of our production processes.
- Support in the analysis and optimization of production processes
- Collaboration in the evaluation of production key figures (e.g., scrap, OEE, process capability)
- Accompaniment and documentation of Gemba walks in production
- Support in the identification of process deviations and potential for improvement.
- Participation in root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, Ishikawa)
- Support in the creation and updating of work instructions and process standards.
- Collaboration in continuous improvement projects
- Close cooperation with production, engineering, and quality
* 2. Quality support in day-to-day business
You will provide operational support for quality assurance to ensure product conformity.
- Support with incoming goods, in-process, and final inspections
- Documentation of test results and deviations
- Collaboration on 8D reports and complaint processing
- Support in tracking corrective measures
- Ensuring a proper testing and documentation structure
- Regular ongoing quality control in accordance with specifications
- Support in internal and external audits
- Communication with suppliers and internal interfaces in the event of quality problems
Qualifications
• Completed technical education with further training in quality/production, technical studies desirable (e.g., mechanical engineering, process engineering, production engineering, industrial engineering)
• Initial practical experience in a production environment (e.g., through an internship, working student position, or initial professional experience)
• Basic knowledge of process analysis and problem-solving methods (e.g., 5-Why, Ishikawa, 8D)
• Basic knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001)
• Basic knowledge of process optimization, production metrics such as OEE, scrap, process capability
• Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel
• Experience with production key figure evaluation is an advantage
• Good English and German skills
• Analytical and structured way of working
• High willingness to learn and initiative
• Presence in the production environment and hands-on mentality
• Clear communication at shop floor level
• Ability to work in a team and sense of responsibility
