Job Overview
This strategic role drives compliance, process safety, and emergency preparedness across all international sites to ensure sustainable and resilient operations within the pharmaceutical industry.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead governance, process and plant safety, compliance, and hazardous substances management across all international sites.
* Manage and advance the Business Continuity Management program, ensuring strategic emergency preparedness and integration with KRITIS requirements.
* Develop, maintain, and audit global standards for hazardous substances handling, storage, disposal, and industrial hygiene.
* Provide leadership in process and plant safety, including ATEX safety guidelines and ongoing compliance audits.
* Oversee HSE audits, standardizing processes, managing findings, and addressing systemic risks.
* Guide and evaluate major HSE projects to ensure strategic alignment and resource allocation.
* Lead and support site and regional HSE managers worldwide with clear objectives and dotted-line leadership.
* Drive development and global rollout of the HSE program aligned with corporate goals and site-specific needs.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated leadership in hazardous material management, working together with authorities and leading audits.
* Strong project management and leadership skills across hierarchies and countries.
* You are fluent in English; German would be desirable but is not required.
