To support the Health, Safety & Environment department, we are looking for a EHS & Quality Engineer.
Your tasks:
* To provide appropriate and professional advice and control within the scope of the activities of the commissioner, in particular with regard to dangerous goods and waste.
* Preparation and review of the list of hazardous substances.
* Creation and revision of substance lists in the WebSARA database.
* Examination of safety data sheets in the context of REACH activities.
* Preparation of operating instructions (hazardous substances) in coordination with the respective responsible persons for the central departments.
* Creation and revision of the legal register for the German locations as well as administration of the system, including on- and offboarding of plants.
* Support of those responsible in the preparation of risk assessments for hazardous substances.
* If required, support in the preparation of documentation for permits such as BImSchG.
* Support for all questions about waste management.
* Support for site inspections, inspections and external audits (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001).
* Assisting the ESG team with HSE issues related to the preparation of CSRD/ESG reports.
Your profile:
* 2 -5 years of experience in the field of chemistry or mechanical engineering.
* Ideally, knowledge of SAP (creation and status query of requisitions).
* Knowledge of the use of databases (SARA, Umwelt Online).
* Skills and extensive knowledge for various representative activities, such as REACH officer (EU), safety officer, first aider.
