Head of Marketing and Business Development (m/w/d)
Responsibilities
* Responsible for the strategic direction of four central teams: Market Development, Product Management, Marketing Communication, and Application Laboratories.
* Focus on leadership, prioritization, and interconnected thinking. Collaborate with a strong team of colleagues, managers, and staff to strategically advance the company.
* Set clear goals and develop strategic initiatives, maintaining an overview of international process harmonization and structural alignment of your area.
* Analyze market developments, identify opportunities, and shape a future-oriented product strategy that centers on market and customer needs.
* Manage worldwide brand management and develop communication strategies that deliver impactful messages.
* Develop the global network of application laboratories as an innovation platform at the interface of customer requirements, product development, and sales.
* Promote cross-departmental collaboration and build bridges to other areas and international locations to create true synergies.
Profile
* Experienced leadership personality with a degree in Business or Economics.
* Several years of managerial experience in product management and marketing of complex, capital-intensive goods, ideally with industry experience.
* Strong knowledge in product management and marketing, with a good understanding of laboratory processes.
* Proven ability in market and competitive analysis, developing and implementing forward-looking strategies.
* Experienced in leading international teams, with strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
* Skilled in implementing corporate strategies and agile project management.
* Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Open to a culture of learning from mistakes, with an independent, structured, pragmatic work style, high organizational skills, and strategic foresight.
* Customer and service-oriented, with an empathetic, open, and fair demeanor.
* Motivating leadership style capable of managing conflicts and fostering a motivating work environment.
