MOLYKOTE® Specialty Lubricants Brand includes broad range of lubricants technology like Greases, Pastes, Oils and Anti-Friction Coatings.
We are looking for an experienced Consultant role as a temporary part-time assignment.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert consultancy for projects involving new anti-friction coating formulations, performance optimization, and advanced application development.
2. Diagnose and resolve quality issues related to coating application processes, working closely with internal teams and customers.
3. Participate directly in customer meetings and trials, offering hands-on technical guidance.
4. Support the establishment and optimization of AFC application processes in field environments.
5. Document key findings, best practices, and learnings to enhance internal technical knowledge and ensure continuity.
Qualification:
6. Science degree (M.Sc. or PhD) in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
7. Required: Strong foundational knowledge in tribology and lubrication sciences.
8. Solid experience in anti-friction coating development, including deep expertise in coating formulation, processing, curing technologies, and field application.
9. Proven expert-level understanding of automotive markets and applications.
10. Extensive experience providing direct customer technical support, including troubleshooting, trials, and application development.
11. Fluency in English and German.
