Job Title: Operations Director
The role of the Head of Terminal Operations involves overseeing the maintenance and development of terminal operations. This includes managing teams responsible for information desks, kiss and fly services, and terminal supervisors.
Daily responsibilities involve team management, planning, training, and development, as well as initiating new projects and participating in cross-functional initiatives. The Operations Director will be responsible for proposing and implementing actions to optimize tasks and infrastructure within the terminal, ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Effective communication with external stakeholders is crucial to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
* Manage departmental resources effectively
* Participate in airport audits and propose corrective measures
* Monitor ongoing projects and work in the terminal
* Initiate and specify requirements for changes, work, problems, etc., within the terminal
* Ensure procedures, instructions, and manuals are up-to-date and followed
* Use forecasting data to improve operational planning
* Ensure emergency and evacuation plans are known and implemented by the team
* Participate in diversity and inclusion initiatives
* Support new employee integration
* Promote responsible behavior through waste sorting and energy saving
The ideal candidate should have 10 years of relevant experience in airport or aviation services, preferably with a postgraduate degree or equivalent experience.
Fluency in English (C1 minimum) is mandatory, along with knowledge of project management, terminal operations, and ICAO standards.
