A Snapshot of Your Day
Are you passionate about industrial automation, secure software engineering, and cutting-edge tooling development? We are seeking a dynamic Teamlead to drive the development of control software tooling and automation frameworks for OT devices such as Beckhoff TwinCAT. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in model-based design, secure coding, and automation software, including transformation tools like Embedded Coder from MathWorks.
You’ll lead a team of talented engineers working on scalable, high-performance solutions for HVDC, FACTS, and broader industrial control systems. If you thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment, we’d love to hear from you.
How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of software and automation engineers.
2. Design and develop engineering tools for control software platforms (, TwinCAT, Simulink, IoT Portocols).
3. Implement transformation workflows using Embedded Coder, Simulink Coder, and MATLAB Coder.
4. Ensure secure coding practices across all development stages, including threat modeling and compliance with standards like MISRA C.
5. Integrate CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps principles into OT environments.
6. Collaborate cross-functionally with system architects, hardware teams, and commissioning engineers.
7. Drive innovation in automation tooling, virtual commissioning, and digital twin technologies.
What You Bring

9. Proven experience in tool development for control software platforms.
10. Strong knowledge of Beckhoff TwinCAT, IEC 61131-3, and PLC programming.
11. Hands-on experience with Embedded Coder, Simulink Coder, and MATLAB Coder.
12. Familiarity with real-time simulation platforms (, dSPACE, OPAL-RT).
13. Solid understanding of secure coding, CI/CD, and version control systems (, Git).
14. Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
15. Fluent in German and English.
