Purpose
Provide financial planning and analysis for the Own Retail-, Franchise- and eCommerce (Consumer Direct ‘CD’) business in all ~ 30 countries in Europe for the longer term strategy as well as short term business cases and tactical decisions to ensure profitable business and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Functional:
* Steer the shop/website/franchisor p&ls by analyzing and consulting on distribution and investment strategies (markdowns, return strategies and SWB) to maximize profitability and optimize brand presentation
* Lead the dynamic planning processes (SBP, IBP, budget, forecast) as well as month-end closing for the three channels (own retail, franchise, eCom) according to group policies and guidelines
* Define and arrange tracking of KPI’s for strategic as well as short-term management of the CD business
* Lead the financial configuration for store opening, remodelling and closure
* Partner with CD Management team by providing transparency on business development in an objective and contemporary manner
* Identify risks and opportunities and derive recommended action steps
* Develop Business Analysis- & Business Plan-thinking throughout the D2C management team
Personnel:
* to set up structure of the team and recruit team members in alignment with Director FP&A and HR
* to delegate tasks and responsibilities within the team
* to set personal objectives, targets, guidelines and assess all direct reports
* to develop the functional and social skills of direct and indirect reports on and off the job
* to manage all reports as an integrated team by setting team objectives, targets and guidelines
* to create environment enabling team members to perform within good team spirit of all direct reports along all interfaces

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Ability to coach, guide, manage and develop the multinational team

* Advanced MS-Office knowledge, advanced SAP (CO, BI) knowledge
* Geographical mobility – travel within Europe, at least once a quarter
* English: fluent
Qualifications
1. University degree in business administration with a focus on Finance / Controlling
2. Functional: 8-10 years professional experience
3. Broad and deep knowledge in retail and/or brand driven environment
4. Leadership: min 3 years leadership of experts
5. Exposure: analytical skills, figures
